Cambodian Community in Norway will perform a traditional dance at the International Cultural Event in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Southern Norway, a region which is the biggest Khmer community.

Buddh Mundol Khmer-Norway’s Facebook has posted that the Khmer dancing group of the Cambodia Association Norway (CAN), on August 14, 2021 at 01:25pm, has scheduled to perform a Royal Traditional Dance, is named “Neary Chea Chour” (Girls do dance in group together).

The Dancing Group calls for people in the community to support dancing girls and their own culture.

To see more details of agenda for the group in the Event: 

  • The International Cultural Event has conducted in Kristiansand City on Saturday, August 14, 2021.
  • Khmer people can participate (voluntarily) in the International Cultural Event at 11:30am. Then they should be met at 10:30am. They should also wear their own traditional costumes.
  • Khmer traditional dance’s Show at 01:25pm. 
  •  Khmer traditional foods are to be sold there as well.
