Translated from Khmer by Nath Men

According to the Khmer traditional costumes, a classical dance and the Khmer national flag have performed, the Cambodian Community is well appreciated at the International Cultural Event in Kristiansand, Vest-Agder, Southern Norway. Some multicultural participants smilingly take photos together with Cambodian dancing girls and traditional costume women. The Event was conducted on Saturday, 14 August 2021.

Kristiansand Municipal Representative Ms. Inger Laudal shakes hands and talks with a Representative of the Khmer Buddhist Society Mr. Nath Men at the Event. She does appreciate the Cambodian traditional group which is doing great like the other groups as well.

Neary Chea Chour (Girls dance in a group together) is one of Khmer royal traditional dances that performs on the Scene. Ms. Vuteny Sey Berg, a Steering Member of the Cambodia Association Norway (CAN) leads the dancing group, and Ms. Dané Khorn, a Steering Member of the Khmer Buddhist Society helps them as a Khmer moderator for the International Cultural Event.

The Event has scheduled that all multicultural groups have marched, performed dances and songs on the Scene, sold traditional foods, and taken groups’ photos.

So, the Event is very important for the Cambodian people to get great values in both Norway and Cambodia.
